The third prompt for the CCP Salon Instagram Project is Shadow. And this is my response to it.

“When walking through the ‘valley of shadows’ remember, a shadow is cast by a Light.” - Austin O’Malley

Shadow-play has been an important part of my street photography work, using shadow to isolate or reveal my subject(s) somehow became my style. Whether with an iPhone, Sony A7S or the Leica D-Lux, it never change. The only difference in this image that I submitted for the prompt was the shadow occupied most part of the image, having photographed it under a overhead train track. The sun shining through the gap between the train track casted light on anyone walking under the bridge. It was kind of busy with many people walking past the light source but patience does pays off as I waited for that single soul in the spot.

You are encouraged to post your response to the prompt on Instagram with this hashtag #diyccpsalon and do tag @ccp_australia as well as #leica_australia. You can use any camera for your response. Have fun!
