Roll Number 9

Roll number 9, the Fujifilm Superia X-Tra 400 24 exposures, photographed last year in Singapore. I decided to explore the Jurong area while visiting my dad at the nursing home. So instead of taking public transport, I walked back to my brother’s place from the nursing home, approximately a 30 minutes walk. During the journey, I don’t know what I was looking for; reckon I just react to any situation presented to me. But I do enjoy walking and photographing; I just let curiosity lead the way.

After shooting nine rolls of film, I more or less understand it a little. Right now, as I’m writing this blog, I have already shot my 24th roll since I started. The more I do it, the more I enjoy it. And believe it or not, I haven’t touched my Sony A7s mirrorless camera since the beginning of this year. I have thoughts of selling it, but I guess it is better to keep it, for the time being, I might need it for some other projects.

So how is life without Facebook? Well, it’s going smooth I guess. I have no desire or urge to dive back into it; I’m reading less shitty news and more photography blogs. I’m focused on my projects and objectives, and I’m sure it will be all worth it. Unless some big happen, I don’t think I will activate my Facebook this year. I don’t know if anyone will read my blog, but I will keep writing, although I hate it very much.
